Overview

A mental health app designed with AI models to provide accessible and scalable care across all 50 states in the USA to young teens, even if they lack insurance cover.

The Challenge

Kids aged 3–18 face limited access to mental health support due to financial, lack of insurance, & geographical barriers. Also, I needed to intergrate a better way for taking appointments for our current users.

After engaging in long conversations with therapist to figure out how we can keep the information collection to the minimal, I designed-

  • A self paced self treatment plan with our AI Team tailored to each users personal need.

  • Playful journaling feature to keep track of kids mood and wellbeing.

  • A Virtual therapist in the form of an AI chatbot available all time.

The organization saw a significant boost in user engagement. With more sign-ups pulled in by the AI features, the company saw an increase in conversions to therapy mode as well.
